The Bene family has been creating forged iron products since 1881, for five generations in a row, all fitting the needs of the given era.

In the heart of Transylvania, in the village of Erdővidéki Olasztelek, our family has evolved with time whilst preserving our traditional methods of forging, continuously taking advantage of improved technology. Thanks to this, Beneferr products display a clean, rustic quality in your home.

We have researched traditional locking mechanisms created by old craftsmen used as ornaments of mansions and the gates of the Szekler. We will shape them for you in such a way that maintains their traditional features, whilst complying with all of today’s expectations. Our ornamental door handles, knobs and lock covers for exterior or interior decorative use are all imbued with the spirit of master craftsmen.

Durability has always been an important factor, especially for buildings designed to last for centuries. This is why forged iron doors and windows of mansions, castles or even peasant houses have remained intact, along with their clearly visible clean shapes and decorations. This enables us to reconstruct these creations with durable and authentic products.
